I am trying to change the value in the UPC column of a merchandise vendor profile. When I edit the barcode/alternate lookup ID it doesn't change the UPC value. If I add a new merchandise item with a barcode/alternate lookup ID, the UPC column is blank.
Our Product Development team has reviewed this issue, its impact in the software, and the availability of an alternative solution. After careful consideration, we have determined that this issue will not be addressed currently in the Altru software. Product Development will be focusing development resources in other existing areas of the product, as well as new feature development.
Barcode/Alternate Lookup ID replaced what used to be UPC. There is no way to change the UPC column on the vendor record. Any barcode/alternate lookup ID that is entered for a merchandise item will still work to pull up the item within Altru.
