You have the authority to add, edit or remove Tuition Fees in your settings. Once a Tuition Fee is applied to a student's account, however, you cannot apply another tuition fee or edit the tuition bill line for that student.  You will receive the following error:

Add Tuition Fees:

You can add Tuition Fees, as needed, in your settings. This is for tuition billing only and should not include incidental fees or enrollment fees.
  1. Login to school.smarttuition.com
  2. Select the applicable school year
  3. Click Fees & Discounts 
  4. Select Manage Fees & Discounts
  5. Click Tuition Fees (If this is not showing in the heading, Tuition Fees are not activated.)
  6. Fill in the required fields, using the following

        7. Click Save
Note: Only one Tuition Fee can be applied to a student's account. If you are attempting to add a second Tuition Fee for the same student, the request will be denied.
Edit Tuition Fees:
  1. Login to school.smarttuition.com
  2. Select the applicable school year
  3. Click Fees & Discounts 
  4. Select Manage Fees & Discounts
  5. Click Tuition Fees 
  6. Click on Edit for the fee that needs changed

        7. Click Save

Remove Tuition Fees:

You may only remove Tuition Fees that have not been applied to an account. If the Remove button is not visible, then the fee is in use and cannot be deleted.
  1. Login to school.smarttuition.com
  2. Select the applicable school year
  3. Click Fees & Discounts 
  4. Select Manage Fees & Discounts
  5. Click Tuition Fees 
  6. Click on Remove for the fee that needs removed
