I have a user trying to enable text notifications for their wireless phone, with Tracfone as a provider, but they are not receiving the activation confirmation code. They've already contacted their provider to confirm that the text is not being blocked. What else can they try?
Many prepaid mobile providers hold agreements with larger wireless network operators to provide services. Tracfone user Verizon Wireless, AT&T, T-Mobile, Spring and U.S Cellular., and Level 3 Communications (which is now CenturyLink).
If a user is selecting Tracfone as their provider when trying to enable text notifications, and are not receiving the activation confirmation, have them try CenturyLink, and the Verizon network as the selected provider as well. They can also try the other above options. If they're still unable to activate text notifications, please contact support.
