When editing a Pledge to add an Opportunity to the record, one may notice the existing recognition credits are overwritten with those associated with the newly-added Opportunity.
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack.
Steps to Duplicate
1. From any constituent record, click Add pledge. 2. In the Add a pledge window, enter an Amount for the pledge and select any Designation. Click Save. 3. From the newly-created pledge record, navigate to the Recognition tab and make note of who is receiving recognition. 4. Click Edit pledge. 5. In the Edit pledge window, search for an Opportunity to add (search for an Ask amount equal to that of your pledge otherwise you’ll receive an error). 6. When an Opportunity with an Ask amount equal to that of your pledge is found, highlight it and click Select. Click Save. 7. Back on the pledge record, check the Recognition tab again. The recognition has changed.
