Why is a teacher showing in the wrong grade level in a directory?

Why is one of our teachers showing in the wrong directory despite them teaching classes of a different grade level?
The value that determines what grade level they show in the directory is set when they are initially employed into the system. You can change this from:

1. Core > Users/Access > Profile > (Relevant Teacher).
2. Scroll down to system information and select employment.
3. Select edit in the top right then change what grade levels are checked.

Once this is changed give 24 hours for the directory to update and they will be in the correct grade level.
