Guest pass removed after constituent merge

After merging two constituents guest passes disappear from the constituent's record
This issue has been resolved in version 5.11. All sites have been updated in October 2018. If you experience this error, please chat with support to provide the exact steps that were taken.

Steps to Duplicate

You must first have two constituents with memberships on their constituent record. One constituent needs to have guest passes on the record and the other constituent should not have a guest pass on the record
  1. Click Constituents > Constituent Search
  2. Search for and select the constituent
  3. Click add membership > choose a membership program and level that includes system generated guest passes
  4. Complete the add a membership form
  5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 for the second constituent but remove the guest pass by clicking edit next to benefits in the What are they paying for section > click on the guest pass > press the delete button on your keyboard > click save
Merge the two constituents
  1. Click Constituents > Duplicates
  2. Click Merge two constituents
  3. In the source constituent tab add the constituent that has the guest pass on their record
  4. Add the other constituent in the target Constituent section
  5. Choose the merge configuration 
  6. Mark Delete Source constituent
  7. Click Merge
