Event registration 2.0 preferences not added to registrant record after batch committal

When registering for an event using the 2.0 part and selecting an event registration preference, the preference chosen is downloaded to the CRM batch but not committed to the registrant record.
We are currently evaluting this issue for a fix in a future service pack.

*** Replicated on sample data v4.0 SP16 ***

1. In CRM add an event that that has at least one preference set on the 'Options' tab

Example:

Preference: T-shirt size   Options: S, M, L, XL


2. In BBIS add an event registration 2.0 part  that links to the event added above, ensure the registrant options include the preference added above
3. Using the part add an event registration through the website making sure you choose the preference and a size option
4. Now in CRM download the event reg transaction to the BBIS Event Registration batch
5. Notice that you can see the preference in the batch details (Details ribbon -> review transaction details -> Registrants tab -> View details -> Options tab)
6. Commit the batch
7. Go to the registrant record and notice the preference hasn't been recorded on the record
