We can disconnect the Other payment method from a sales method:
  1. Go to Tickets > Sales Methods
  2. Select Daily, Advance, or Group Sales
  3. On the Payment Methods tab, click the arrows next to the appropriate payment method and click Remove
We can also mark the Other payment method as inactive to prevent users from accidentally using it going forward.

If the payment method has not been used for any orders, we can delete it. If it has been used, you will receive the error "unable to delete code table entry because it is in use", and you will only be able to mark it as inactive.
  1. Go to Administration > Code Tables
  2. In the Category drop down, select Revenue and click Apply
  3. Click the Other Payment Method code table
  4. Locate the appropriate payment method and click the arrows next to it
  5. Click Delete
