Poor system performance - when opening import pages/windows and calculating marketing effort segment counts

When attempting to open import pages or windows and calculating marketing effort segment counts, one may notice the import pages and windows take longer than usual to load and marketing effort segment count calculations take hours longer than usual to process.
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack. 

Steps to Duplicate

1.   Navigate to Administration > Import. Choose any process and click Edit. Notice the Edit window takes a long time to load.
2.   Navigate to Marketing and Communications > Direct Marketing Efforts. Select an effort that needs the segment count calculated. On the effort record, click Calculate segment counts. Notice the calculation takes hours longer than usual.
