Classification Tables allow your organization to keep track of custom information about your grantees and applicants.
If you already have a Classification Table set up to track a specific piece of information (ex: "Favorite Color"), but now you would like to add additional values as selectable options for this field (ex: Pink, Blue, Green, etc.), then follow the steps included below.
How to add additional values to an existing Classification Table:
1. Log into Blackbaud Grantmaking (GIFTS Online) 2. Click Admin 3. Select Classifications 4. Scroll down (if necessary) until you locate the desired Classification Table that you would like to modify - (ex: Favorite Color) 5. Double-click to open into that particular Classification 6. Under Actions (in the top-right corner of the screen), select New 7. Type in the desired title for this new value option in both the Code field and the Description field - (if this Classification coding sheet was set to track "Favorite Color," perhaps you'd like to add "Pink" as a new value option...) 8. If you'd like to add multiple new values, click "Add Another"... Otherwise, if you're just adding this one new value, click "OK" 9. Once you've finished adding each new additional value, click "Save & Close."
