When registering for an event users can proceed to the checkout without choosing options.
When registering for an event which has options the user can bypass the option form page without making a selection even if the option is required.
Steps To Duplicate
1. Create an event in CRM. 2. On the options tab add a Preference with multiple items. 3. Add the event to an event registration page in BBIS. 4. Select your option and make it required. 5. Test the page and register for the event. 6. Add an attendee and select your event. 7. On the options tab do not select an option. 8. Click the checkout tab at the top of the form. - Proceed to check out without the required option.

This has been resolved in Service Pack 18 (4.0.180.1804). Please download and install the latest Service Pack or Hot Fix which contains all fixes from previous patches.
