While adding a membership payment through the back office you may notice that the payment box is grayed out and only displays credit card
The payment method textbox will default to credit card and turn gray when the "Renew this membership automatically when it expires. (Credit card required)" is selected. This is because Altru requires a credit card to process the transaction when that box is marked. If you need to use a different payment method unmark that box and then complete the transaction. You can then use these steps to edit the membership and add the auto renew feature later.
