Error: This export definition cannot be saved because the current user does not have rights to one or more of the source query views

Non-administrator users may encounter the error: "This export definition cannot be saved because the current user does not have rights to one or more of the source query views" when attempting to save an export definition that uses a smart field value.
This error is caused by one of the user's roles not being granted access to the smart field used in the export definition. To address this error, grant permission to the smart field.
  1. Navigate to the user's desired system role to add this permission to
  2. Click on the "Smart Fields" tab
  3. Click "Assign Smart Fields"
  4. Click the appropriate security folder for the smart field on the left pane
  5. Click the check box next to the desired smart field(s) and save the form
