If a constituent user-defined data list is placed on a page, adding the field Email Addresses\Email address as a filter causes the filter function on the data list to stop working. So long as the Email Addresses\Email address filter remains, exporting the data list generates a blank file without results.
Note: If the Email Addresses\Email address field is no longer a filter, the filter functions work and the data list can be exported with the appropriate results.
Query can be used as an alternative method to export out results as needed or removing the email address filter from the user defined datalist.
Steps to Duplicate
1) Create a constituent user-defined data list that will have results > Add a few result fields, including Email Addresses\Email Address. 2) On the Set save options tab > Fields sub-tab, mark the filter checkbox to make the field a filter. 3) Save and close the data list. 4) Put the data list on a page. 5) Go to the page > Try using the filters > Notice that the filters don't work. 6) Click the reset button > Notice that the results return. 7) Export the data list to a csv file > Notice that the file is blank.
