Error: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <=, >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression- when adding payment to a recurring/sustaining membership

When selling a recurring membership we get the following error, "Error: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <=, >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression." This occurs for both batch and back office.
This issue has been resolved in version 5.11. All sites have been updated in October 2018. If you experience this error, please chat with support to provide the exact steps that were taken.
