If you navigate to a constituent's record, on the summary tab, it still shows events in the upcoming section even though the order was refunded.
Our Product Development team has reviewed this issue, its impact in the software, and the availability of an alternative solution. Aftercarefulconsideration, we have determined that this issue will not be addressed currently in the Altru software. Product Development will be focusing development resources in other existing areas of the product, as well as new feature development.
Steps to Duplicate
Go to Sales > Daily Sales
Select a patron
Select a scheduled program
Add a payment and complete the order
Go to the patron’s Constituent record. In the Constituent Summary section, this event shows as an upcoming activity
Go to Sales > Order Search to open the completed order
Click Refund order on the left
Select a reason and click Refund
On the next prompt, select Yes to mark the registrant as canceled and return the ticket to inventory
Go back to the Constituent record. In the Constituent Summary section, the event still shows as an upcoming activity.
