What is a qualification? How are qualifications used?
Qualifications are the criteria which an applicant must meet in order to be eligible for an opportunity award. Qualifications are used to narrow the field of all applicants to only the most qualified applicants.
Qualifications are created from the imported data on the import file, student-answered questions on the General or Conditional applications, and/or apply-to opportunity questions.
Example of qualification created from imported data on the import file:
In this example, the import file contains a field called BSU Cumulative GPA, and within the example opportunity, a qualification can be created to look at only applicants with a BSU Cumulative GPA of greater than or equal to 3.0, and match only those applicants into the opportunity who meet the qualification.
