Error: The remote SSL peer sent a handshake failure alert - when launching database view for RE NXT

Users report the following error(s) when logging into their Blackbaud hosted Raiser's Edge NXT and selecting to launch the database view.

Error: The remote SSL peer sent a handshake failure alert

Error: Connection to the server ";42;STA954835953;0DD3ABB664102EE6E2B14B714944DA;STA456190949;DFA" was interrupted. Please check your network connection and try again.
Each workstation must have the Citrix Receiver installed. This third party component allows your workstation to launch your Blackbaud applications from Blackbaud's environment. This error can occur for users accessing Blackbaud solutions from a Mac operating system on an old version of the Citrix Receiver (i.e., version 12.4 or lower). To resolve, click here to confirm what version of Citrix Reciever you are currently accessing, how to fully remove the older version, and how to reinstall the most current version to resolve the error (version 12.9.1 and above).

Steps to Duplicate

1. Log into the RE or FE NXT web view
2. Click the Databases icon (similar to stacked coins) in the top right-hand corner of the omnibar
3. Click Open database view to initiate the launch of this application
4. Users report one of the errors:

Error: The remote SSL peer sent a handshake failure alert
OR
Error: Connection to the server ";42;STA954835953;0DD3ABB664102EE6E2B14B714944DA;STA456190949;DFA" was interrupted. Please check your network connection and try again.
