First Name merge field shows last name when donor has double last name

A registrant with a non-hyphenated double last name, for example John David Doe fills out an event registration form, the  First Name Merge field in the acknowledgement email will appear as John David.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Fill out event registration form.
  2. Fill out the first name field.
  3. Fill out the last name field with both last names.
  4. Notice in the acknowledgement email the First name appears as with the First name and the first last name.
