Resources in Altru can be configured in Tickets - Configuration - Resources.
When you add a new Resource, you have to choose a Type.
A non-consumable resource is an item that you have a limited quantity of and something that you reuse such as a projector, electronic equipment, or chairs. A consumable resource is something you keep a quantity of on stock such as information packets, workbooks, or art materials.
When a non-consumable resource is added to a reservation, Altru will keep track of the number of items available. For example, if you have two projectors and configure them as non-consumable, Altru won't let you know assign projectors to three different reservations at the same date and time. It's important to accurately enter the Quantity available for a non-consumable resource to allow Altru to track the availability of those items.
