To change the color of an event that displays in a calendar, do the following:

  1. As a Platform Manager, go to the Core persona, hover over Settings, and choose Manage Calendars. A list of the calendars that have been created displays on the page.
  2. To edit the color, click the edit pencil on the right side. This following screen will display. 
  3. Choose the desired color (or enter the hexadecimal number) set to Active, and Save.

Note: If a calendar is shared to multiple categories, the color for the calendar event is chosen from the calendar that appears with the lowest sort order (highest on the list). This means that for a calendar to have the correct color, make sure that the event with the correct associated color appears higher up in the calendar sort order. Editing the sort order of the categories will change the event color if it is shared to multiple event categories.

To edit the sort order of the categories, do the following:

  1. As a Platform Manager, go to the Core persona, hover over Settings, and choose Manage Calendars. A list of the calendars that have been created displays on the page.
  2. Click the edit pencil on the right. The following screen will display.
  3. Click Edit Order, drag and drop the calendars into the correct sort order and click Save. Now the events will take the color of the calendar that appears higher up in the sort order list.
