To successfully do this, temporarily remove the parental access for the non-custodial parent or temporarily disable the non-custodial parent's account until the contract is submitted.

To edit the parental access, do the following:

  1. From the persona menu, select Core.
  2. Select Profile from the Users/Access drop-down.
  3. Click Edit User Profile Data.
  4. Go to the user's profile you wish to edit.
  5. In the Relationships channel, click Relationship Settings.
  6. Click Edit.
  7. Update the parental access fields by unchecking the "give parental access" box.
  8. Click Save.

To disable the User account for the non-custodial parent, do the following:

  1. From the persona menu, select Core.
  2. Select Profile from the Users/Access drop-down.
  3. Click Edit User Profile Data.
  4. Go to the user's profile you wish to edit.
  5. In the Sign In Information channel, click Edit.
  6. Check the Disabled/Locked box.
  7. Click Save & Exit.

*Note: It's best for the school to coordinate with the family to make this process as smooth as possible, so the Contract is not accidentally submitted for the custodial parent by the non-custodial parent.
