In this example, Sally Student is currently in grade 11 but will graduate as if she is in grade 12. The instructions below show how to change her current grade level to 12 thereby showing that she skipped from grade 10 to grade 12.


If the student does not have a contract assigned for the 18-19 year:

  1. Navigate to Core> People finder> (student name)> Access
  2. Click the edit/pencil icon to the left of 'Student'
  3. Click 'Alumni Affiliation'
  4. Click Edit to the right of the current Grad Year
  5. Select the new Grad Year from the dropdown
  6. Click 'Save & Exit'
  7. Click 'Edit Student Enrollment'
  8. Click the Trash can icon to the right of the Grade 12 row
  9. Click the 'Grade Level' dropdown for the Grade 11 row, and change this to Grade 12
  10. Click 'Save'

If the student does have a contract for the 18-19 year, you can either delete the contract if not needed,and proceed with the above steps, or:
  1. Navigate to Core> Users> Edit User Profile Data
  2. Search for and select the student
  3. Scroll down to the 'System Information' block and select 'Student Enrollment'
  4. Edit the Grade 12 year, and click 'Delete'
  5. Edit the Grade 11 year, and change 'Grade level' to 12th
  6. Click 'Save & Exit'
  7. Jump to steps 1-6 in the first section, or, to do the same by alternate navigation:
  8. Navigate to Core> Users> Edit User Profile Data
  9. Search for and select the student
  10. Scroll down to the 'System Information' block and select 'Alumni Affiliation'
  11. Click Edit to the right of the current Grad Year
  12. Select the new Grad Year from the dropdown
  13. Click 'Save & Exit'
