First, we will want to make sure to add our Transcript Category if it does not already exist, see Adding or Editing a Transcript Category.

If there is no historical Data (this means this is the first time this course is offered) and there are no grades entered than you can change the Transcript Category via:

Academics > Scheduling > Requests and schedules -> Departments and Courses

  1. Click edit on the Course you are looking to change
  2. Click the Grading tab
  3. From the Transcript Category dropdown Select the correct Transcript category

If there is historical data and grades have been recorded then you would need to:

  1. Ensure you have created the new Transcript Category, see How to add a Transcript Category
  2. Create a Support Ticket with the Course Names/Codes what the Transcript Category was and what the Transcript Category should be.
