There are 2 methods to withdraw an Employee – either directly through the User Profile, or through the Withdraw Employees task.

To withdraw an employee via the user profile:

  • From the persona menu, select Core
  • Select Profile under the Users/Access dropdown
  • Click Edit User Profile Data
  • Find the user and go to his/her profile
  • In the System Information channel, click the Employment link. In the Employment screen, click the Edit button
  • Under Withdraw, select Effective Date/Time or Effective Immediately
  • Selecting "Effective Date/Time" will withdraw the employee on the future date and time that you enter. Selecting "Effective Immediately" will withdraw the employee upon saving
  • Check Disable the user's login credentials if the user should no longer be able to login to the community
  • Click Save & Exit
Note: You will also need to remove the Teacher from their Courses and or Groups unless you disable their login credentials, or they will still have access to them.
  • From the persona menu, select Core
  • Select Profile under the Users/Access drop-down
  • Click Withdraw Employees
  • Step 1 of 2 lists all current employees. Check the box next to each employee you want to withdraw
  • Click Next
  • Step 2 of 2 displays employees selected in Step 1. For each employee, select Effective Date/Time or Effective Immediately. Selecting "Effective Date/Time" will withdraw the employee on the future date and time that you enter. Selecting "Effective Immediately" will withdraw the employee upon saving
  • *Use the Default row to select settings for all employees in the list.
  • Check Remove Access if the user should no longer be able to login to the community
  • Click Save & Exit
Note: You will also need to remove the Teacher from their Courses and or Groups unless you disable their login credentials, or they will still have access to them.
