Check to make sure the notifications are active:

  1. Navigate to onMessage > Communication > Notification
  2. Click Notifications in the submenu
  3. Under the Academics category, look next to Assignment Added
  4. Confirm that it does not read (inactive)
  5. If inactive, click edit to the far right
  6. Check the Active checkbox
  7. Save

Check subscriptions:

  1. Navigate to onMessage > Communication > Notification 
  2. Click Notifications in the submenu
  3. Under the Academics category, look next at the Subscriptions column in the Assignment Added row
  • If you see a clickable number, that is the number of users subscribed to receive assignment added notifications.
  • When clicking on that number, you can view who the users are. If there is not a number, this means no one is subscribed to receive assignment added notifications.
  • To subscribe, users must log in to their own account by clicking their name in the Account menu in the upper right, then navigate to Settings > Notifications.  Here they can check off if they would like to receive either an email or text notification.
