To track your website traffic using Google Analytics, you first need to create an account at Google Analytics, copy the tracking code that Google provides you, and paste it in your School Website Site Settings.

To locate the Tracking Code:

  1. Log into your Google account
  2. Navigate to the Administration screen
  3. Within the section labeled Property, select the Tracking Info tab
  4. Select Tracking Code
  5. Highlight the entire code displayed in the text box
  6. Use your mouse's context menu or shortcut keys to Copy the code

To assign the Tracking Code to your website:

  1. As Page Manager, select the School Website persona
  2. Navigate to Website Management > Websites and edit the site you want to track
  3. Select Site Settings
  4. In the SEO section, click in the field labeled Google Analytics
  5. Paste the code in the box and that's all you need to do - the change is autosaved
