In order for a Donor to have access to a Fund in DonorCentral, he or she must have a Fund Association code linking them to the Fund. If you use Suggestion Central, the Donor must also have Fund Association code that indicates that they are allowed to make Grant Suggestions from a Fund.   Note: You can create Fund Associations from either the Profile Management or Fund Management module. This procedure takes you through the process of creating the association from the Profile Management module. To configure fund associations for DonorCentral:
  1. In the Profile Management module, click the Fund Associations tab.
  2. Click New on the far left-hand side of the toolbar.
  3. A line in the Associations list appears for editing.
  4. Click the Fund ID drop-down list and select the Fund that you want the Donor to have access to via DonorCentral.
  5. Once you select a Fund, the Fund Name appears in the Name field.
  6. Click the Rep Type drop-down list and select the appropriate code to associate the Profile with the Fund (for example, Donor Advisor).
  7. Once you select a code, a text description of the code is appears in the Description field.
  8. Click in the DonorCentral field and enter either Yes or No to indicate whether the Donor can view information about the selected Fund in DonorCentral or not.
  9. Click in the Suggest Grants field and enter either Yes or No to indicate whether the Donor can make Grant Suggestions in Suggestion Central.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Repeat this process to associate the Profile with any additional Funds, if necessary.
