While running IGAM reports, users receive a message similar to the following: The Internet connection failed. [20102/GAMCommunication.HTTPPost] You cannot change the RemoteHost at this time. A connection is in progress. - or - [20302/GAMCommunication.HTTPPost] Timeout. Please try again.
Cause: The amount of time needed by the IGAM server to process the reports is exceeding the length of the connection timeout setting on your system.
Resolution: Increase the timeout setting in the IGAM external preferences.
To increase the timeout: 1. Log in to the IGAM from a GIFTS workstation. 2. From the IGAM menu, select Tools > Preferences . 3. Under the System Wide category, select External . The External preferences are displayed. 4. Increase the Internet timeout setting at the bottom of the External preferences.
