It's important to note that once a recurring event is published, you cannot change its recurrence pattern (e.g. you cannot change a weekly event to a monthly event or an intra-day event to a weekly event).  You would have to delete the event and create a new one with the recurrence pattern you want.  Note that the system will notify anyone who has signed up that you have deleted the event.  Therefore, you may want to communicate to everyone on the roster before you delete the event to let them know that you are creating a new one.   To answer your question, it's important first to know whether you're trying to change the schedule of an intra-day event (with multiple occurrences on all a single day) or an event that takes place over multiple days.   Scroll down below to read the Intra-day or Multiple Day Event solution to your question.

Intra-day Event:  If your event has multiple occurrences on a single day (e.g. a blood drive), you can edit the date for the event, but not all the shifts at once.  You can edit shifts individually.

To edit the date of all occurrences, click on the event name of any of the occurrences and then click on the Schedule link at the top of the page.   You will be able to edit the date and you will note that you can apply this change to all occurrences.  Be sure to click the Next button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

To edit the time of a specific occurrence, click on the event name of the occurrence you wish to edit and then click on the Schedule link at the top of the page.  You can change the time of this specific occurrence, but not all the occurrences at once.  Be sure to click the Next button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Multiple Day Event:  If your event takes place over multiple days (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly or yearly), you can edit the time for all occurrences at once, but not the dates.   You must edit each occurrence individually to change its date.

To edit the time of all occurrences, click on the event name of any of the occurrences and then click on the Schedule link at the top of the page.   You will be able to edit the time and you will note that you can apply this change to all occurrences.  Be sure to click the Next button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

To edit the date of a specific occurrence, click on the event name of the occurrence you wish to edit and then click on the Schedule link at the top of the page.  You can change the date of this specific occurrence, but not all the occurrences at once.  Be sure to click the Next button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
