Error: Cannot connect to the Citrix Xen App server SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust Rapid SSL CA- while accessing Host*Net/FIMS

Clients may receive a “Cannot connect to the Citrix Xen App server SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust “Rapid SSL CA” error when accessing Host Net applications.
  1. Try another browser like Chrome, other than the one currently being used to see if the issue occurs in all browsers or just one.
  2. Clear your Internet cache in the browser being used for Host Net. (See below for instructions)
  3. Remove from your Trusted Sites List:
  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Click the Gear Icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen
  • Go to Internet Options
  • Click on the Security tab
  • Click on the Trusted Sites icon
  • Click on the Sites button
  • Search for and click the Remove button.
      4. Add to this trusted sites list again.

      5. Close all Internet browsers.

      6. Reload and relaunch Host Net.​

       If the error continues while using Chrome, try resetting the site settings 
  1. After signing into Host Net click on the green lock in the far left corner of your URL
  2. Once there go to Site Settings>Reset Site Settings 
To clear your Internet cache in Internet Explorer:
  1. Press  F12  or go to  Tools->Developer Tools.
  2. Press  CTRL-D  to clear cache for the domain. Click  Yes  when prompted.
  3. Press  CTRL-R  to clear all cache. Click  Yes  when prompted.
  4. Close the developer window.
To clear your Internet cache in Firefox:
  1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select  Options
  2. Select the Advanced panel.
  3. Click on the Network tab.
  4. In the Cached Web Content section, click Clear Now.

To clear your Internet cache in Google Chrome:
  1. Click the Chrome menu User-added image on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select Clear browsing data.
  4. In the dialog that appears, select the checkboxes for the types of information that you want to remove.
  5. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Select beginning of time to delete everything.
  6. Click Clear browsing data.
