Download the "Support Package 4 (incremental build)and reinstall it over the existing version of Crystal Reports.
 
Open the Registry Editor by going to the Start Menu and typing "regedt32." Then, on 32-bit versions of Windows:
  • Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI\Foundsql92, right-click on Driver and choose "Modify..." and change the path to "[drive]\pgoe1023.dll".  Then, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\Progress OpenEdge 10.2B Driver. Again click on and modify Driver to "...\pgoe1023.dll" and do the same for the entry Setup. 
 
On 64-bit versions of Windows:
  • Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ODBC\ODBC.INI\Foundsql92 and modify Driver to read "[drive]\pgoe1023.dll".  Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\Progress OpenEdge 10.2B Driver. Change the Driver and Setup to read the same as above.
 
Return to Crystal Reports and try adding more than one table to a new report. It should now allow you to without crashing.
