Will Blackbaud Grantmaking work in Google Chrome?

Users of Blackbaud Grantmaking often inquire as to which browsers - in most cases, Google Chrome - are compatible for use. Here, we would like to add clarity to this inquiry.
To be clear, Blackbaud Grantmaking Classic View (a.k.a. GIFTS Online) is currently NOT compatible with Google Chrome. Ever since Chrome had stopped supporting a technology known as Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface (NPAPI) in 2015, Blackbaud Grantmaking Classic View has been unable to be used in Chrome. Blackbaud Grantmaking is built on MS Silverlight, an NPAPI plug-in, which is the reason for this incompatibility.

However, Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View is indeed compatible with Google Chrome. While still in Development and lacking features of Grantmaking Classic View, you may still access it in Chrome and other browsers. If you wish to log in and experience Grantmaking SKY View, please click here for more details.

The list of supported browsers for Grantmaking Classic View can always be found in https://www.blackbaud.com/howto/grantmaking
