Try each of the following steps in order until the error is resolved:
  1. In RE, export the new data file (.MDB) to the same location expected by the report
  2. Open the report in the Crystal Reports standalone application. Unmark the Save Data with Report option and refresh the report
    • Go to the File menu
    • Click Save Data with Report to unmark it
    • Refresh (F5) the report
  3. Rename the .MDB file and set the database location in the report to the new file name
  4. In the Crystal Reports standalone application, click on Report > Selection Formulas > Record to check the formula for any hard coded dates or filters for old data
  5. In RE > Reports > Custom Reports, verify that the Refresh Export checkbox is marked when running the Custom Report
