Note : Before you proceed with the following instructions, back up the database. If your organization integrates multiple Blackbaud products, refer to the Additional Requirements section of the backup article.

  1. In Administration, click Globally Change Records  
  2. Highlight the appropriate record type and click New Change. For example, to globally change gift information, highlight Gift (located in the Gift category). 
  3. If using a query, click Include and select the appropriate query  
  4. Select the field to change  
  5. Enter the operator and the value(s) to change  
  6. Click OK  
  7. Mark the Create control report checkbox  
  8. Click Change Now to begin the change
