The following software versions run on the Microsoft SQL Server database engine:

The Raiser's Edge: versions 7.60 and higher
SQL Server database file names

The Financial Edge: versions 7.20 and higher
SQL Server database file names
Note: The Accounting for Nonprofits products installed with The Financial Edge (i.e. Payroll and Student Billing) also run on same SQL Server instance.

The Education Edge: versions 7.30 and higher
SQL Server database file names

Note: The following products were only released as SQL Server versions: Blackbaud Student Information System, The Patron Edge, The Researcher's Edge, and The Information Edge.
