In the Financial Edge:

1. In Reports, Financial Statements, open the report
2. Select the Format tab and highlight Sort
3. In the Statement body format drop-down list, select Show detail by account for statement
4. For Sort by, select Department(s)
5. For Action, select Subtotal
6. Click Preview
