Try each of the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:
- If a package is selected on the Appeals tab of the constituent record, ensure it is selected on the gift.
- If a package is selected on the gift, ensure it is selected on the Appeals tab of the constituent record.
- Save and close the constituent record, then re-open it to refresh the Appeals tab.
- If totals for matching gift pledges should not be included in the Total Given column, adjust the matching gift to change the appeal.
- Do not count planned gifts toward the amount in the Total Given column.
- If the amount in the Total Given column is too high, check the constituent's gifts to find multiple gifts with the same appeal. If these gifts should not be counted toward the same appeal, change the appeals on the appropriate gifts.
- Do not count Recurring gifts toward the amount in the Total Given column.
- Delete the gift and assigned appeal and gift, and re-enter them correctly, ensuring to add the assigned appeal first.
