This is a Microsoft SQL Server error.

Also verify that the SQL Server instance's service is running under the System Account (sa) or an administrative account of the proper domain.
 

If using SQL Server 2005 Standard or Enterprise Edition:

Detach and re-attach the database again using the SA user and password.
 

OR

  1. Open the SQL Server Management Studio
  2. Expand SQL Server Agent, then Jobs
  3. Right-click on BMC: Manual backup and select Properties
  4. In the Owner field, select the sa account as the job owner using the ellipsis button
