The date that prints on consolidated receipts is the date that they are being printed. It is sometimes desired for the date to reflect the date range chosen on the General tab for tax purposes.
This functionality has been implemented in The Raiser’s Edge 7. Learn more about upgrading to The Raiser’s Edge 7.
In the Raiser's Edge 7: 1. Open the Receipt parameters and select the Format tab 2. Select Output Options and add a custom message with the date that is being receipted for consolidated receipts NOTE: This functionality is only available if using Receipt Type of Preprinted receipts (on the general tab)
Use the Insert Date functionality in Microsoft Word, to add the current date into the receipt template. Be sure to mark Update Automatically when inserting the date, so that the current date is used when receipts are generated.
