How to add:
  1. Edit the Registry
  2. Highlight the key or entry where the new value should be added
  3. Select Edit, New, <Key or Value to add> from the menu bar
  4. Type a name for the new value, and press Enter

How to edit:
  1. Edit the Registry
  2. Select the entry to change
  3. Select Edit, Modify from the menu bar
  4. In Value Data, type the new data for the value
  5. Click OK

How to modify registry permissions:
  1. Edit the Registry 
  2. Right click on the key that needs to have permissions modified
  3. Select Permissions
  4. On the Security tab, highlight a group or user and select the appropriate permissions or add a group or user and select the appropriate permissions
  5. Click OK
