What is the difference between preferred address, primary business, and address processing?
The preferred address is the constituent's primary address, and it appears on the Bio 1 tab of the constituent's record. The constituent may have only one preferred address. Although this address may be blank, all constituents have a preferred address.
Constituents may also have a primary business address, which is the address for the business relationship marked as Primary.
Address processing selects which address to pull based on four steps that consider seasonal addresses, address attributes, and specific address types. For more information on address processing, refer to How does address processing work?.
