When unenrolling or removing a student from a class, the Withdraw option is missing. The only option is to Drop the student. You may also receive the Error: Dropping this student will delete corresponding grades, skills, ratings and attendance entries for [Term]. Do you wish to continue?
A possible cause is that the term does not have a withdrawal date, so the student is automatically dropped. The withdrawal date is last date a student can drop a class. You can withdraw a student only after the withdrawal date defined for the term. Prior to the withdrawal date, you can only drop the student. For example, if the withdrawal date entered in Configuration is 01/06/09, you will not receive the withdraw option until 01/06/09. Students will be automatically dropped from classes before this date.
Set a withdrawal date for the term: 1. Open Configuration, Academic Years 2. Double-click on the appropriate Academic year 3. Highlight the session on the General tab and click Open 4. Select the Terms tab 5. Enter a withdrawal date for each term
