Try each of the following steps in order until the error is resolved: 

  1. Open the Blackbaud Management Console. 
  2. Detach the database  
  3. Re-attach the database again

If the deploy folder was recently moved: 

  1. Move the deploy kit using the Blackbaud Management Console  
  2. Manually update the workstation

If the error still occurs: 

  1. Edit the registry  
  2. Go to HKLM\Software\Blackbaud\The Financial Edge\7.0 
  3. Right-click and select Modify for both the AFN64InstallSource and InstallSource string values 
  4. Change the path to point to the correct Deploy path
  5. Open the deploy.ini file in the deploy kit.
  6. Verify that there is a line that reads "Initialized=yes". If the value is equal to "no", manually change it to "yes".
  7. Log in again
