1. Log in to a username with rights to Security within the Administration module.
  2. Select Admin, Security.
  3. Open the record for the username experiencing this issue.
  4. Within the user's record, select Set this user's options.
  5. On the Home tab, unmark the options to display shortcuts for the Internet resources (all three).
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Select Save and Close to save these changes.
  9. Exit and sign out of The Raiser's Edge.
  10. Log in as the original user to test this process.
If Blackbaud Hosts your The Raiser's Edge Database, please follow the below listed instructions until your issue is resolved:
  1. When logging out of The Raiser's Edge be sure to select "Exit & Sign Out" option in the "File" menu item (upper left corner of The Raiser's Edge screen).
    • Please wait several seconds for your login session to completely disengage. 
    • You will be presented with a quickly flashing screen stating that your roaming profile is being synchronized.
  2. If the issue persists after following the steps above, setup Windows Authentication between your hosting username and The Raiser's Edge username, being careful to unmark the "RE7 Authentication" option on the user profile options in Admin>Security.
