Try to following in order to resolve this issue:
    1. Within the Blackbaud Management Console, obtain the name of the SQL Server service running the problem database.  The SQL Server service name can be found in parenthesis located to the right of the database name.  Open Windows Services, locate your SQL Server service (for example, RE_EXPRESS or FE_EXPRESS for the Blackbaud instances), right click on the service, and select Restart it the service is currently running.  If the SQL Service is not running, right click on it and select Start.
    2. Reboot the server.
    3. Open the Blackbaud Management Console, then detach the database and re-attach the database.
