If you want to be reminded of an important situation or condition regarding a particular record, you can create an annotation for the record.
1. Open the record. 2. Select Edit, Annotate from the menu bar, or press Control+T on the keyboard. 3. Enter the appropriate message or note. 4. Mark the Display annotation automatically. 5. Click Save. This message appears the next time the record is opened.
NOTE: Most record types can be annotated. Annotations cannot be passed automatically from one record type to another. For example, a vendor annotation cannot be passed automatically to the an invoice added to that vendor record.
