1. Open the report parameters
  2. On the General tab, select Summary for the Report Format
  3. Select to summarize by Attendance Code
  4. Select to Show Attendance by Class
  5. Select any other parameters for the report
  6. Print or Preview the report

To view attendance by occurrences:

Run the Daily Attendance Report by Class or the Class Attendance Summary


or


Run the following query:
 
  1. Create a new student query
     
  2. On the Criteria tab, select the students to include in Query
     
  3. On the Output tab, expand Attendance

     
    • If you track Attendance by Day:
      1. Expand Day
      2. Select Date, Code, and any other Attendance fields to include in the results
      3. Select Day Attendance Code Count
         
      4. On the Filters tab that appears, filter on specific schools, terms, sessions, academic years, or codes to include in the query results:
        1. Select the field to filter and click Change
        2. Enter the appropriate filter
        3. Click OK

       
    • If you track Attendance by Class:
      1. Expand Class
      2. Select Date, Code, Class ID, and any other Attendance fields to include in the results
      3. Select Class Absence Count (to view Absences only), Class Tardy Count (to view Tardies only)
      4. On the Filters tab that appears, filter on specific classes, schools, terms, sessions, academic years, codes, or dates to include in the query results:
        1. Select the field to filter and click Change
        2. Enter the appropriate filter
        3. Click OK
  4. Still on the Output tab, expand Student, Bio1, and select Full Name
  5. Include any other fields to include in the Results
  6. Select the Results tab to view the results
  7. To view the query in report form:
    1. Export the appropriate information from the database in an MS Access Report Writer Database format
    2. Use the exported file as a data source to create a custom Crystal Report
