Try each of the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:

  1. If using roaming profiles or redirected personal folders, please log into the workstation with a Windows user with local administrator permissions that does not utilize roaming or redirected profiles.
  2. Modify the Deploy Kit at the server, to prompt user for an install path or enter a valid path
  3. Manually update the workstation by running Setup.exe from the Deploy Kit on the server
If the issue still occurs after performing these steps, then there may be invalid paths located in the Windows shell folder configuration.  To resolve this, you will need to review the shell folder configuration for the user/workstation.  Any invalid paths located in this configuration must be corrected to point to a valid and accessible location.  Note that this configuration can affect the behavior of other applications as well and that these errors may also appear when other applications utilize Windows installer
