1. Reboot the workstation
  2. Delete temporary files
  3. *Note* In the Financial Edge, Reset Registry 
  4. Defragment the hard drive
  5. Ensure that you have sufficient free hard drive space.
  6. Uninstall and re-install the workstation [ The Financial Edge or The Education Edge \ The Raiser's Edge 7 ]
  7. Run the registration script
If you are hosted by Blackbaud, this error is typically resolved by logging out of the hosted product and logging back in. See the steps below:
  1. From The Raiser's Edge, Click File > Exit and Sign out
  2. Log off of hosting services
  3. Log back into hosting services
  4. Click the icon to open The Raiser's Edge
